TALLAHASSEE (AP) — Florida is partnering with 41 Walmart and Amigo stores in Puerto Rico to sell its strawberries.

Florida Agriculture Commissioner Adam Putnam announced a trade mission with the stores this week. He said store ads and promotions will feature Florida Strawberry Parfaits.

The two chains join the more than 60 retailers in 27 countries that have partnered with the "Fresh From Florida" campaign in 4,700 stores across the globe.

The agency is looking into expanding the campaign within the Caribbean, Central America and South America as the Panama Canal expansion is in its final stages.

Florida international agricultural exports generate more than $4 billion in cash receipts, making the state the eighth largest agricultural exporter in the U.S.
