Florida man accused of threatening 'nearest school' while posing with weapons
TAMPA – The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office is investigating a school-based threat.
Detectives say Sunday night 18-year-old Corey Anderson posted images of himself with what appeared to be a handgun and a rifle with the caption: "Hey Siri, directions to the nearest school."
After further investigation, detectives determined the handgun and rifle were "airsoft guns."
He was arrested and charged with "written or electronic threat to conduct a mass shooting or act of terrorism."
