Fort Lauderdale fire rescue says when they arrived they pulled a woman who was in a home health care bed out of the house.

Her family members identified her as Agnes Roland.

Firefighters said the woman was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

Her daughter is distraught and neighbors said they did what they could to help.

"Kids came up and they're like, "There's a house on fire and I came running out of the house...and I knew the neighbors down the block and they weren't there and we thought the old lady was in there so they start breaking all the windows on the house, start screaming into the house... no response," said neighbor Ryan Oliver.

Firefighters are trying to determine the cause of the fire.

Everyone in this neighborhood is praying that Agnes Roland pulls through and survives.
