Fidel Castro Funeral Set For December 4th

MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- Former Cuban Leader Fidel Castro's funeral is set for December 4th, according to the Cuban government.
The government has also established a period of mourning in Cuba that will last nine days.
Cubans will have their period of mourning starting at 6 a.m. Saturday running until December 4th at noon.
During the period of mourning, all public activities on the island are cancelled. All radio and television will maintain what the Cuban government calls 'informative, patriotic and historic programming.'
Fidel Castro will be cremated and his ashes will be taken around the island.
On November 29th at 7 p.m., Cubans on the island are invited to a mass gathering at the Plaza De La Revoluccion "José Martí." The following day, Fidel Castro's ashes will be taken through Cuba, ending in Santiago De Cuba on December 3rd - the day before his funeral.
His funeral will be held at 7 a.m. at the Cemetery of "Santa Ifigenia."
