MIAMI (CBSMiami) – There are going to be some welcomed changes at Marlins Park this season.

The Miami Marlins discussed the possibility of changing the layout of the ballpark last August, with the main changes coming to the dimensions and height of the outfield walls.

Those changes are now being put into effect, as shown in the team's MLB.com blog On Cloud Conine.

The most dramatic changes will come to the area from center field to right-center, with the walls moving in 11 feet and being lowered three feet, from 11.5 feet tall to 8.5.

The three digital screens on the outfield wall, one near the left field pole, one on left-center and one in right field, will remain at 11.5 feet tall.

The lowest part of the walls will be in front of the Clevelander in left field. Those walls are coming down from 11.5 feet to 7 feet.
