FBI Searching For Fort Lauderdale Bank Robber

FORT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) -- Federal investigators are looking for a man they say robbed a Fort Lauderdale bank on Wednesday and may be connected to other robberies.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) released pictures of the man they said robbed a Sun Trust Bank branch located at 1601 S Federal Highway.

Surveillance cameras show the man walking into the bank just after 9:30 a.m.

The robber entered the bank and demanded money from a bank employee, according to authorities.

He got away with an undisclosed amount of money.

The FBI believes the same man was involved in a robbery of a Bank United branch at 808 SE 17 Street in Fort Lauderdale on May 15th and again on May 19th.
