FBI Offers Reward For Serial South Florida Bank Robber

MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- Federal officials are offering a reward for a man they say is responsible for eight bank robberies in South Florida.

The FBI is offering a $2,500 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the robber.

Authorities have nicknamed the robber the "Lucky Bandit"since he has robbed seven banks without wearing a disguise or being identified.

They believe the bandit is responsible for bank robberies dating back to October 2014 in Pembroke Pines, Cooper City and Hollywood.

The robber is said to have used a late model black Mazda Tribute as a getaway vehicle in at least one of the robberies.
