FBI Makes Arrest In Armored Truck Robbery
MIAMI (CBSMiami) - The FBI arrested a man in connection to an armored truck robbery that left a 72-year-old guard injured last month.
Daniel Ochoa, 24, has been arrested by the FBI for his alleged involvement in the robbery of an armored truck on Aug. 15, near 2905 NW 27th Avenue.
The FBI SWAT team made the arrest Friday morning, without incident, close to the 2900 block of NW 4th Street.
Ochoa is in federal custody and is facing charges for a Hobbs Act robbery, carrying and using a firearm and a crime of violence.
During the robbery, 72-year-old Brinks guard Andres Perez was shot in the leg. Perez was taken to the hospital and later released.

Ochoa is set to make an appearance at the Federal Courthouse in Miami.
The FBI, City of Miami Police Department and the South Florida Violent Crime Fugitive Task Force are still continuing their investigation.
