Fatal hit-and-run under investigation in Lauderhill
MIAMI - Lauderhill police continue to search for the driver involved in a deadly hit-and-run Wednesday evening in Lauderhill.
According to police, around 7:30 p.m. they received a 911 call about a man lying on the road in the 3500 block of West Sunrise Boulevard in need of medical attention.
When officers and fire rescue arrived they found the body of 46-year-old Juan Jose Garcia. Police said he suffered severe injuries consistent with being struck by a vehicle.
