In response to Jim DeFede's series titled Race Matters: Policing By The Numbers, reaction was quick and widespread.
Now, Jim is expanding the scale of his investigation to cover Miami-Dade County in its entirety.
He has new numbers and statistics that are alarming and support what he previously reported.
In direct response to the original series, a town hall meeting was held to educate the community and its representatives on many of the things brought to light through CBS4's investigation and the Miami-Dade County Commission passed a preliminary action that would allow officers to issue civil citations for small marijuana possession.
Joining Jim is Professor Donald Jones from the University of Miami.
