Exclusive: Man Secretly Recorded Teens & Molested Them, Warrant Says

HOLLYWOOD (CBSMiami) - CBS4 News has uncovered court documents that accuse a Hollywood man of secretly recording two teenage girls during their most private moments and molesting them months later.

Investigators say Fabio Passolini recorded the girls in December 2013 when they went to his apartment to visit his daughter, a search warrant says. The warrant also says that Passolini later moved in with the girls and their mother and began inappropriately touching them while they slept.

The search warrant says the abuse occurred at least ten times before the victims' mother learned of it and called police. During one instance of abuse, the warrant says the younger victim told police, "When she woke up and looked at (Passolini), he advised her that he was getting a pillow and then left the room."

Hollywood Police say that when they arrested Passolini late last month he had something in his hand that he did not want to turn over. The search warrant says a detective, "…ordered (Passolini) to open up his left hand he refused and (the detective) had to physically pry his hand open."

Inside his hand, the search warrant says, was a thumb drive. On that drive, investigators say they found nine videos of the victims in Passolini's old bathroom.

"The fact that the suspect keeps the video clips with him on a thumb drive demonstrates that such images are important to him," the search warrant says.

Audrie Wells lived near Passolini. She said she feels terrible for the victims and believes Passolini is where he belongs -- in jail.

"It's the best thing that ever happened because people like this it's very dangerous living around, in such close quarters where children are living," Wells told CBS4's Carey Codd. "These things scar (the victims) for life."

The search warrant says police recovered a bunch of items from Passolini's apartment -- like dozens of CD's and DVD's, a DVR recorder, a camera, flash drives, video cards and other electronics.

The mother of the victims told CBS4 News that she's known Passolini for years and trusted him.  She said her daughters are getting counseling and trying to recover.

Passolini is being held in jail on $500,000 bond.
