Electronics & Chemical Drop-Off Event For Broward Residents

HOLLYWOOD (CBSMiami/AP) — If you have any old electronics and household chemicals that you want to get rid of, now is your chance in Broward County.

Residents of Broward County can attend a free drop-off event.

Residents of Pompano Beach, David and West Park can drop off the items on Saturday. Residents of Cooper City, Dania Beach, Deerfield Beach, Hollywood, Lauderdale-By-The-Sea, Lauderdale Lakes, Margate, Parkland, Pembroke Park, Sea Ranch Lakes, West Park, Weston and Wilton Manors can participate on Sunday.

The Household Hazardous Waste and Electronics Recycling drop-off event is free to those residents on both days. Among the items that can be discarded: Your old computer, monitor, television and any outdated household chemicals such as pesticides, paint and more.
