Welcome to the Dwork On Sports blog.  This is a place where I'll cover all things related to South Florida sports, with a steady combination of facts and opinions while ultimately keeping a close eye on anything and everything related to our local teams.

The Miami Marlins had their first full-squad workouts today at the team's Spring Training home in Jupiter, Florida.  The Marlins will play their first games of spring training next Monday and Tuesday against Florida International University and the University of Miami, respectively.  Their first game against MLB competition comes next Thursday against the St. Louis Cardinals.

The Marlins had a very busy offseason which resulted in a lot of new faces wearing Miami caps this spring.  To help organize things and give you an idea of which players to keep an eye on, here is a little primer for the current Marlins squad.
