Driver Flees To Opa Locka After Crashing Into Cop

OPA LOCKA (CBSMiami) -- Authorities are searching for the hit-and-run driver who crashed into a police officer on I-95 and took off.
The car was later found by Miami-Dade Police, abandoned by the driver, near 74th Street and 14th Avenue, although a passenger in the car decided to remain inside.
The passenger was questioned but not arrested.
The officer involved in the crash wasn't hurt but will be checked as a precaution, according to officials.
