Person dead after car crashes into pole in Doral and driver flees, police say
MIAMI — Police are searching for the driver responsible for a Doral hit-and-run that killed a person after crashing their vehicle into a pole early Saturday morning.
Doral Police told CBS News Miami that the crash happened at NW 58th St. 99th Ave.
According to the preliminary investigation, the driver reportedly lost control of their vehicle and hit a pole, damaging the right side of the car and killing the passenger inside.
The driver then reportedly left the scene of the crash, Miami-Dade Police said.
The cause and circumstances of the crash are under investigation.
