MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is among several nominees for the 2016 Nobel Peace Prize.
A member of the Peace Research Institute in Oslo, Norway said the billionaire businessman was nominated by an unnamed American for his "vigorous peace through strength ideology."
Trump joins Pope Francis, Edward Snowden, a women's cycling team from Afghanistan and Nadia Murad, an activist supporting ISIS rape victims.
Meanwhile, in the race for president, Trump has alleged that republican rival Ted Cruz won the Iowa caucus by committing fraud. He took to Twitter on Wednesday with his claim.
Ted Cruz didn't win Iowa, he stole it. That is why all of the polls were so wrong and why he got far more votes than anticipated. Bad!

Trump contended that the vote shouldn't have even counted.
Based on the fraud committed by Senator Ted Cruz during the Iowa Caucus, either a new election should take place or Cruz results nullified.

Trump said the Cruz campaign put out a release as the caucuses were beginning that said mutual GOP opponent Dr. Ben Carson was dropping out of the race and that voters should go with Cruz.
