DAVIE (CBSMiami) -- The Miami Dolphins are showcasing South Florida's best high school sports teams.
As part of their third annual High School Media Day, more than 95 teams are being represented from Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach Counties.
Each team gets to hold a five minute press conference with members of the media and get their head shots taken as well as team photos.
"This is a great opportunity for each team to showcase five of their best players to members of the local and national media," said Miami Dolphins Manager of Youth Programs Troy Drayton. "We want to make sure all these kids are comfortable speaking in front of a camera and on record before they get into college. This event gives them that exposure in a safer and more secure environment."
For the past two years, the team had hosted their event at Sun Life Stadium but due to ongoing renovations at the stadium, it is being held this year at the Don Taft Arena at Nova Southeastern University in Davie.
The event runs until 6 p.m.
