DAVIE, Fla. (AP) — The Miami Dolphins are bringing back safety Louis Delmas, who signed a one-year deal Friday to return to the club.

Delmas tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee in December, but the team is hopeful he will be ready for training camp this summer.

Delmas appeared in 13 games and started 12 for the Dolphins last season, with 63 tackles and one interception that he returned 81 yards for a score.

Also Friday, the Dolphins signed running back LaMichael James to a one-year deal. James played in two games with Miami last season.
