Disney To Start Scanning Children's Fingers

ORLANDO (CBSMiami) - In an effort to combat fraud, Walt Disney World will begin scanning the fingers of children ages three to nine years when they enter the parks.
Disney is making the change to prevent the use of stolen or shared tickets. Up to now, families could swap tickets between children under the age of 10 because there was no way to know which child it was attached to.
The scanners used at the parks do not detect full fingerprints, only several points on a person's finger.
Parents who feel uncomfortable about having their child's finger scanned can use their own instead.
