Deadly double shooting in northeast Miami-Dade
MIAMI - A deadly double shooting in northeast Miami-Dade.
It happened overnight in the area of 180 NE 161st Street, just a couple of blocks from the Golden Glades Interchange.
According to investigators, an altercation between two men escalated when a gun was pulled and shots were fired. One man died, and a second person who had been shot was rushed to HCA Florida Aventura Hospital where they were listed as stable.
The fight happened inside a house. Police said the person who died was renting an efficiency behind the house. Investigators are trying to determine what led to the shooting.
