One Injured In Police-Involved Shooting In Davie
DAVIE (CBSMiami) – One person was hospitalized following a police-involved shooting in Davie Wednesday evening.
According to the department, officers were sent out to investigate a domestic disturbance in the 10500 block of SR 84.
Police said a suspect had fired shots at an unoccupied vehicle near a Park City West residence.
Two officers came in contact with the suspect in the neighborhood, and that's when gunfire was exchanged.

Police said the suspect was struck, while none of the officers were injured.
The suspect, who has not been identified, was rushed to the hospital. He underwent surgery and is expected to survive.
Two firearms were recovered at the scene.
The officers involved have been placed on paid administrative leave.
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement has taken over the investigation.
