Dallas Stars Mock Bieber Arrest On Jumbotron
MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Sometimes the sports world can serve as a welcome distraction to the news of the day. Thursday, the Dallas Stars had some fun with the "big story" of Justin Bieber getting arrested.
The Stars were playing the Toronto Maple Leafs Thursday night in Dallas and the Stars decided to use the Jumbotron to show off one of the Maple Leafs' biggest fans.

Bieber is a well-known Maples Leafs fans as he hails from Canada. Bieber has skated and practiced with the team as recently as December 2011.
Not surprisingly, Bieber fans or "Beliebers" took to social media to slam the joke by the Stars' organization. But, just like Bieber proved on Thursday, there's no such thing as bad publicity.
But, as CBSDFW explained, it's not the first time the franchise has had some fun with a controversial celebrity. Here's a picture form a game last season.
