Crews Pull Man Out Of Hole In Dania Beach

DANIA BEACH (CBSMiami) -- Rescue crews worked tirelessly to try to get a man out of a hole in Dania Beach on Thursday.
It all happened near a self storage at 2010 NE 7th Avenue.
Chopper4 was over the scene as crews pounded the ground while a man lay waist deep, face down on the floor around 4:00 p.m.
Just before 5:00 p.m. crews were able to pull him out of the ground, lay him out on a stretcher and take him to be treated. His condition is unknown at this time.
It is no clear what caused him to fall in.
