MIAMI (CBSMiami/AP) — Two people were stopped at an airport checkpoint at New York's LaGuardia Airport trying to board a flight to Miami with concealed weapons.

Lizbeth Esteras, 18, had a razor blade tucked behind the band of her hat near the label.

Miguel Rosario Munoz, 40, had a razor concealed in the removable sole of one of his shoes. Inside the hidden compartment was a straight-edged razor and blade along with a tube of cologne.

Both were arrested Monday on weapon possession charges.

The two had tickets to board the same Monday morning American Airlines flight to Miami though it wasn't clear if they knew one another.
