MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- Three bodies have been pulled out of the water near the Florida Keys by the Coast Guard and local agencies.
Following up on a report from a good Samaritan, the bodies were discovered Saturday morning about 23 miles southeast of Islamorada.
The Coast Guard in Key West first received the call of a person in the water around 10:45 a.m. and launched a search and rescue team.
Several hours later, a Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission aircraft located two other bodies.
They did not say what were the circumstances surrounding the cause of death or a connection between the victims.
Monroe County Sheriff's Office and the FWC are assisting in a search for survivors.
