FT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) - An unscheduled stop for Democratic president nominee Hillary Clinton before leaving Florida.
Wednesday morning she made her way to the Lauderhill Mall, a designated early polling location.
"Please get out, vote early and let's make a future we can all be part of and proud of," told the crowd as she shook hands with those around her.
Clinton overnighted in South Florida after a whirlwind day of campaigning on Tuesday which she capped off with a rally in Ft. Lauderdale.
Clinton used the Lauderhill stop to court the Caribbean-American vote.
"I think it's so important to vote in this election. I'm so proud to have the Caribbean American vote and I can't wait to wait to work to improve the opportunities for everybody," she said.
Millions of Floridians have already cast their ballots. But with recent revelations that the FBI is looking into more emails, Clinton is hoping to keep her base energized to vote. Winning Florida and all its electoral votes could be her ticket to the White House.
"We're for Hillary 100 percent. Hillary is our next president of the United States. Don't listen to hype, go vote for Hillary Clinton," said supporter Sandra Gutzmore.
Clinton wasn't the only one urging supporters to get out and vote early.
On Wednesday, Vice President Joe Biden will campaign for Clinton at "Get Out The Early Vote" events in Tampa and Palm Beach Gardens.
On Thursday, President Barack Obama is scheduled to speak at an early voting rally at Florida International University before heading to Jacksonville.
