No Charges For Mom After Child Found Wandering In Miami Beach

MIAMI BEACH (CBSMiami) -- A boy found wandering in Miami Beach has been reunited with his mother.
Miami Beach Police say no charges will be filed at this time.
Officers say they found the young boy wandering in the city Tuesday morning near 27th Street and Sheridan Avenue.
Around noon, police took to Twitter asking if anyone could identify the child or knew something about his family.
Hours later, officers were able to find out the identity of the child's mother and reunite the two.
Officers had said an investigation was underway but later said no charges would be filed.
The circumstances as to how the child ended up wandering around Miami Beach remain unclear.
