CDC Mask Mandate Goes Into Effect Monday Night

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – A new mask mandate order will go into effect Monday night.

The Centers For Disease Control and Prevention says all passengers traveling in the United States, whether by plane, train, bus or any other form of public transportation, must wear a mask.

The agency says the mandate is a bid to help slow the spread of the coronavirus.

The rule goes into effect at 11:59 p.m.
