CBS Poll Shows Republicans Want Romney To Run For Pres.

TALLAHASSEE (CBSMiami) — A new CBS poll shows Republicans want to see Mitt Romney jump into the 2016 presidential bid.

Romney had a 59-percent support from Republicans nationwide, while 50 percent would like to see former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush.

Last week Romney signaled interest in a second presidential bid.

While Bush has said he would actively explore the possibility of running for president.

Florida Sen. Marco Rubio told CBS' Face the Nation that the poll results are a reflection of name recognition.

Rubio said he is seriously thinking about a presidential run.
