DERRY, N.H. (CBSMiami/AP) — One day after formally announcing his bid for the White House, former Florida Governor Jeb Bush says he is the candidate who will help the economy grow.
Bush is speaking at a town-hall event in the key Republican primary state of New Hampshire.
He began the event at the Adams Memorial Opera House on Tuesday with his back turned to the audience for an interview with television and radio host Sean Hannity.
Bush repeatedly criticized Democratic front-runner Hillary Rodham Clinton, calling her a formidable candidate but questioning her accomplishments.
He also emphasized Washington's dysfunction and spoke of his goal of 4 percent annual growth for the economy.
