FORT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) -- Broward Sheriff's Office (BSO) said they arrested more than 70 people as part of crime sweep called Operation Hat Trick.
For Friday's sweep, BSO targeted drug dealing, prostitution and arresting people with outstanding warrants.
On the streets of Pompano Beach, investigators said they caught a guy selling crack cocaine to an undercover officer.

Deputies said they recovered crack the guy tried to throw away along with the money the undercover officer used to buy the drugs from him.
Investigators said arrests they made during the one-day sweep may also pay dividends by helping to solve other crimes.
"Sometimes we can develop leads that help to clear other cases and crimes that maybe we don't have good leads on," said BSO Det. Kevin Viera.
Those arrested Friday were brought to the BSO's Stockade facility in Fort Lauderdale where a nurse checked them out.
Detectives spoke to them about crimes they might be able to help solve.
Ultimately, those arrested were processed for their trip to the jail.
BSO Lt. Steve Feeley said violent crime is down in Broward County but BSO's efforts to protect the community is as strong as ever.
"People who live in our communities don't want people dealing drugs on their corners so we make we go out there and try to take care of that for them," said Feeley. "We're very committed to making sure that Broward County is a safe place to live and work."
Operation Hat Trick is set to run until Friday evening. Investigators said operations usually result in the arrests of about 100 to 120 people.
