MIAMI BEACH (AP) — A Brazilian company is taking over an Art Deco landmark in Miami Beach.

New York-based HFZ Capital Group has announced that the Brazilian hospitality firm Fasano will run the revamped Shore Club hotel.

The oceanfront South Beach hotel is expected to reopen at the end of 2017. It will be known as Fasano Hotel and Residences at Shore Club.

Brazilian architect Isay Weinfeld is redesigning the Shore Club to include 100 hotel rooms and 75 luxury condominium residences.

It's the first U.S. hotel for Fasano, who operates hotels in Brazil and Uruguay
