Boil Water Notice Lifted For Fort Lauderdale Community

FT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) – The City of Fort Lauderdale has lifted a precautionary boil water notice for Imperial Point residents impacted by a water main break on Thursday.

The line was repaired and the water was tested.

Test results show the water is safe for drinking and all other uses.

The eight-inch main burst in the 2100 block of NE 59th Court flooding streets. City public works crews spent Thursday afternoon isolating the main and making repairs.

Approximately 90 homes were impacted.
