Motorcyclist Killed In I-595 Crash
DAVIE (CBSMiami) - A motorcyclist was thrown onto the middle of a highway after a crash Wednesday morning.
The motorcyclist was driving from the southbound turnpike ramp onto westbound Interstate 595 when they fatally crashed and fell off the shoulder, authorities said.
The westbound lanes were shut down as police continue to investigate and are expected to be closed for the next few hours.
It is not known what caused the motorcyclist to crash. No other commuters reported injuries.
