Billick: Dolphins Opening With Two Road Wins 'Would Be Substantial'
"I think people need to hold onto -- It was a road win," NFL Network's Brian Billick said on the Joe Rose Show. "A road win in the NFL is hard to come by.
"The formula for winning a division is win at home, split on the road, beat the teams you're supposed to beat and split with the good teams. That will get you a 12-4 record for the most part. A road win, particularly to open the season, is important. I know it wasn't perfect and I know there's a lot to pick apart. The fact that they're going to Jacksonville and playing a team that has its own struggles... to get two road wins to start the season. I don't care who you're playing, This is the NFL. That would be substantial."
