OAKLAND PARK (CBSMiami) - Two armed men, with their faces covered, rushed into an Oakland park gas station with surveillance cameras rolling.
Shortly after 5 AM, Broward Sheriff's Office said the robbers, with guns drawn, threatened the clerk at a gas station on Oakland Park Boulevard and NW 21st Avenue for cash.
In the video, the clerk is seen dropping to the floor—eventually sliding around on the ground to avoid getting shot.
BSO said one of would-be-robbers fired a number of rounds but wasn't able to break through the bullet proof security enclosure.
One of the men is seen slipping his arm through the payment opening in the glass, but the clerk doesn't budge.

So the men took off empty handed, running past the pumps and around the back of the store.
The clerk was not hurt.
Detectives photographed and fingerprinted the crime scene, hoping for a clue that will lead them to the men responsible.
