MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- This week's Powerball jackpot will be the highest since July with the drawing reaching an estimated $359 million. It's the 18th largest in lottery history.

The Wednesday, Nov. 23 drawing carries an estimated $219.6 million cash option prize.

The drawing this week will be the 19th since Sept. 17, when a winner in Georgia grabbed a $246.8 million prize. It's also the game's highest jackpot since the $487 million kitty from July 30 won on a ticket sold in New Hampshire.

The chance of winning Powerball is incredibly small, at 292.2 million to one. But players have much better odds, of about one in 25, of winning smaller prizes ranging from $1 million to $4.

A Powerball ticket costs $2. The game is played twice a week in 44 states, Washington D.C., Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
