Artemis moon rocket passes critical test this week
CAPE CANAVERAL - NASA's launch director is confirming all repairs to the previous issues were successful and teams are now draining the rocket's tanks.
So now -- NASA teams are evaluating the data from today's tests, along with weather and other factors, before confirming Tuesday's possible launch.
This launch has been scrubbed twice due to a hydrogen leak and engine issue.
Engineers reloaded NASA's Artemis moon rocket with supercold fuel Wednesday to make sure a repaired liquid hydrogen quick-disconnect fitting was leak free, one of two requirements that had to be met before the agency could make a third attempt to launch the huge booster September 27 on the program's maiden moonshot.
