Arrest Made In Pompano Beach Bank Robbery

POMPANO BEACH (CBSMiami) – A 43-year-old man is in federal custody Wednesday for his alleged involvement in the robbery of a Wells Fargo Bank.

Craig Joseph Naughtin of Pompano Beach was arrested in Pompano Beach by the Broward Sheriff's Office, FBI, and the South Florida Violent Crime Fugitive Task Force.

 

Photos of the bank robbery were released Tuesday that occurred at approximately 4:35 p.m. at the Wells Fargo Bank at 3885 North Federal Highway in Pompano Beach.

The suspect, according to FBI officials, entered the bank and demanded money from a bank employee. An undisclosed amount of money was taken.

Naughtin is in federal custody and is facing federal charges and will make his initial appearance at the Federal Courthouse in Ft. Lauderdale.
