Amber Alert Canceled For Missing Panhandle Girl

PENSACOLA (CBSMiami) - An Amber Alert that was issued early Wednesday for a missing Panhandle girl has been canceled.

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement put out the alert for four-year-old Alanda McCoy who lives in Milton, which is just northeast of Pensacola.

At the time, authorities believed she may have been in the company of 27-year-old William Kavchak who goes by "Billy."

Around 1:30 p.m., the alert was canceled and no further information was given.
