FORT LAUDERDALE – A man and woman are in police custody after the Broward Sheriff's Office and SWAT were on the scene of an armed robbery investigation at a Pompano Beach home on Sunday.

Shortly after 6 a.m., BSO was called out to an armed robbery near NE 14th St. Riverside Dr. Once deputies arrived, they found a man who said he was robbed at gunpoint by two unknown people near 300 Sunset Dr.

According to investigators, deputies went to the other location and tried to make contact with the suspects inside of the home. However, they refused to leave, BSO said, prompting the agency's Robbery and SWAT units to respond.
