Alcohol Sales Falling For First Time Since Pandemic Started

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Alcohol sales are falling for the first time since the pandemic began.

The latest Nielsen research, which measures retail sales from two weeks ago, finds booze spending dropped nearly 2%.

This time last year, the average liquor store was selling 55% more alcohol than was considered typical as many people stockpiled for some uncertain months ahead.
