ORLANDO (CBSMiami/AP) — Orlando International Airport expects more than 3 million travelers to pass through during this holiday season.

Airport officials said last week that the official holiday travel period started Friday and goes through the first week of the new year.

They say it's expected to be the busiest holiday season ever for the airport.

The airport is expecting Dec. 28th to be the busiest day of the holiday season with a predicted 142,000 passengers coming and going.
