2 men killed during triple shooting outside Allapattah bar identified

MIAMI – Police on Monday were searching for clues after two people were killed during a weekend triple shooting outside a bar in Allapattah. 

Investigators identified the victims who were killed as Marlon Javier Machado Chavez, 44, and Josue Quintero, 18. 

Police said one of the men died at the scene while another one was pronounced dead after being rushed to Jackson Memorial Hospital for treatment.

A third victim was said over the weekend to be listed in stable condition.

In GoFundMe pages set up for both men, relatives for Chavez, who was married and had a 3-year-old son, said they were raising money to return his body to his home country.

The GoFundMe page for Quintero said he died "saving the life of his best friend." 

Police have not said if they know what led to the shooting or if the victims knew the person who shot them.

Also over the weekend, a fatal shooting was reported outside a tire shop on Davie Boulevard in Broward County.  

And a bad vehicle crash midnight Sunday morning in Westchester left one person dead. Another person was taken to the hospital.
