MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- A whopping 25 kilos of cocaine washed up onto a Florida Beach earlier this week.
The two beachgoers were strolling down a beach on Jupiter Island Monday when they stumbled upon bricks wrapped in black and plastic wrap, according to WESH.
The two called the Martin County Sheriff's department who later determined it was about $600,000 worth of cocaine and that's whole sale value. On the streets, it would be worth about $2 million, deputies said.
Deputies said the discovery indicates traffic routes have not changed and major amounts of coke are still coming into South Florida.
The origin of the narcotics is unknown, according to investigators.
