BSO: Woman, baby found shot dead inside Deerfield Beach home, man hospitalized

BSO continues to investigate a fatal triple shooting in Deerfield Beach

FORT LAUDERDALE — Broward Sheriff's Office Homicide detectives have confirmed that the two individuals found dead inside a Deerfield home Thursday morning are a woman and a baby. 

BSO said a man was found in the street suffering from a gunshot wound and is listed in critical condition. 

Authorities said they received reports of a shooting at around 5:45 a.m. in the 4000 block of Eastridge Drive.

Paramedics transported the wounded man to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Deputies also found a dead woman and infant inside a nearby home. They had been shot, police said. 

BSO's Homicide and Crime Scene units responded to investigate the circumstances of the shootings.

Authorities said there does not appear to be an ongoing threat to the community.
