Young Boy Doesn't Let Bout Of Hiccups Derail His Big Moment

(CBSLA.com) — A young boy wouldn't let the hiccups derail his big moment!

Ethan Hall was struck by a bout of hiccups as he sang Australia's National Anthem at a game.

But like a true performer, he kept on singing.

And he got a huge round of applause!

At least one video of the boy's performance posted to YouTube has been viewed more than 1.4 million times.

In recent history, no such incident has happened at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles during a national anthem performance.

But back in 1990, Roseanne Barr made headlines for her rendition of the national anthem before a San Diego Padres game.

A fast tempo, seemingly intentional sour notes and the shameful screaming of many lines all contributed to Barr being booed by the crowd from her sixth note onward.
