Woman In Wheelchair Shot In East Los Angeles
EAST LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Authorities said a woman who was in a wheelchair was shot and wounded early Saturday in East Los Angeles.
The woman was taken to a hospital where she is reported to be in stable condition.
The victim was shot around 4:30 a.m. in the area of Cesar Chavez and Mednik Avenues, according to the sheriff's department.
Officials said the woman was not being cooperative in the investigation.
No suspect information or motive was given.
