Woman found dead at bus stop in central Los Angeles

A woman was found dead at a bus stop in the central Los Angeles area Thursday afternoon, according to police.

Officers were called to the intersection of Olympic and Crenshaw boulevards, in the Arlington Heights neighborhood near Koreatown, at around 3:15 p.m. for a report of a body being found, the Los Angeles Police Department said. 

She was declared dead at the scene, according to LAPD.

It's not clear whether foul play is suspected or what the woman's cause of death was. 

No other details have been released by authorities.
