Whittier School Locked Down After Boy Walks In With Stab Wounds
WHITTIER (CBSLA.com) — Frontier Continuation High School was placed on lockdown Wednesday morning after a student walked into the campus office suffering from stab wounds to his left arm and shoulder, police said.
The 16-year-old boy entered the office at the school at 9401 S. Painter Ave. about 9:40 a.m.
It's not clear whether the boy's wounds, which were not life-threatening, were inflicted on campus, Whittier police Officer Bradley White said.
"He's being uncooperative, White said.
The lockdown ended without any arrests made. The investigation is at a "standstill," White said Wednesday afternoon. The boy is still not talking to authorities, he said.
It's not known if the stabbing was gang-related and asked anyone with information to call police.
